Buyers Guidelines

PetSale.com.au Policies are rules and guidelines that help to create a safe, fair and enjoyable trading environment for all users. As a buyer, you are responsible for reviewing and understanding the policies listed below.

Buyers must:

1. Read the sellers terms & conditions carefully, and understand them.
2. Communicate with the seller to understand the sale and terms and conditions of that sale.
3. Research the pet, and the legal requirements for that pet.
4. Ensure that the pet is not prohibited by the local council.
5. Check to see if any licensing/registration is required for the pet.
6. Ensure that you have the means and conditions to take care of the pet.
7. If applicable, check to see that the pet is microchipped (in certain states in Australia, this is mandatory) and that all medical checks are up to date.

Buyers Responsibilities

It is the buyers responsibility to ensure that any pets purchased do not violate any laws. Check in your area for prohibited species and breeds to ensure that the pet complies. PetSale.com.au will not accept any responsibility for any damage or loss of pet or pet product.

By entering the site, all buyers are agreeing to all Terms & Conditions and must therefore comply.

Any disputes can be rectified efficiently by contacting the seller via the ‘contact’ link in the advertisement. See the ‘Communication Policy’ for further details on how buyers should interact with sellers.

Buying pets or services from listings on PetSale.com.au is done at the users own risk. All transactions and communication should similarly at the users risk.
